I’m not trying to be rude or mean here, but I do have a few things to say: 1, bonnaroo has been the same price for about the past 5 years (as long as I have gone or known people to have gone, while ultra goes up in price every year) That being said, that’s why there isn’t much that changes. Why does something already wonderful need any changes? Secondly, its stated everywhere that no matter what time you get there, it all depends on the gate you enter and the line you go through as to where you are camped. I got there at 12pm waiting less than 20 minutes and i was at pod 10, where as last year i entered from the interstate, and i was less than a 5 minute walk from centeroo, you can’t expect that getting there early will help you get a better spot. Last but not least, you dropped the keys out of your pocket, bonnaroo has always made it to where only people they hire (towing companies ect) are allowed on site, it’s for safety, and yes its expensive but don’t blame them for your mistake. It sucks that happened to you, but all this complaining is about things you could have easily known about if you had researched a little about the festival that you had already gone to once before.
This is the most ignorant selfish and biased response a person could have posted. You are in no way affiliated with Bonnaroo other than by being an attendee of the festival to defend half of the things you spoke about.

This was taken directly from the Bonnaroo website. I’ve underlined the important part for you once again.
CAMPGROUND OPENING TIMES
TheGeneral Admission Campgrounds will OPEN at 8:00 PM on Wednesday, June 12, 2013.
TheVIP Campgroundwill OPEN at 7:00 AM on Thursday, June 13, 2013.
All Campgrounds will CLOSE at 3:00 PM on Monday, June 17, 2013.
Managing incoming traffic is the closest thing we know to rocket science. We have three General Admission entrances or Tollbooths - as well as a VIP Tollbooth for VIP ticket holders. In order to get everyone in as quickly as possible, we carefully balance the number of vehicles coming into each Tollbooth. Please take the suggested routes below and obey all law enforcement directions, as well as electronic message boards that may post an alternative route.
What determines where you camp? The Tollbooth you enter through and the time you arrive. Does this mean some people get “better” camping spots than others? Yeah, it does. Life is unfair. But no matter where you camp, you’re close to bathrooms, water, security and medical staff. And keep in mind that a closer-in campsite doesn’t mean a better view of the stage. It’s just a shorter walk, and the exercise doesn’t hurt. Furthermore, we know from experience that amazingly great times are had in every corner of the campground. Who knows – you could be camped right next door to your new BFF.

First of all, I’m not blaming anyone for losing my keys. You’re not going to insult me by discrediting everything I wrote trying to make me seem irresponsible. Being in the pit can get crazy and anyone that has been in it knows. Anyone can lose their keys, shit happens… that’s not the issue. I handled my problem… My insurance was more than willing to give me a new car. As a matter of fact… as previously mentioned, THEY DID by sending a tow truck with a new car for us. Bonnaroo refused to let the driver my insurance sent into the camp grounds to pick up the original vehicle because they’d rather make $150 off of you with their private towing company. To move my car from the POD to the gate, which was less than a block, you think it’s fair to charge me $150?! You’re defending the contracting of a tow company and locksmith claiming it’s for safety… really?…
The other option was to wait until Thursday (06/20) which was when they’d let other tow truck companies in to pick up the car. We were almost even willing to accept that when we told them we weren’t going to pay it. We called our insurance so they can pay it when the Hullett people got upset they had to wait and started insulting us before leaving. When we weren’t at the campground they came back without our permission or authorization and towed the car into their own tow yard. They have since been holding it hostage with the owner of Hullett turning off his phone whenever our rental company calls. This was the one vacation my budget could afford this year. I’ve saved all year since the last Bonnaroo for this… I have EVERY right to be livid that I lost an entire Saturday dealing with Bonnaroo and the crooks they contract.
No one goes to Bonnaroo year after year expecting things to be the same. You’re not paying for things to stay the same… you’re paying for a new experience. That’s why the line-up is always changing… that’s why they invest in things like the wristbands and tell us to donate for solar panels, to improve the festival. Those improvements as of right now are not benefiting anyone but themselves. Tougher security systems so no one can sneak in… Natural energy so their power bill isn’t high… it isn’t selfish of me to expect them to make improvements that benefit the festival goers. Two years in a row theyve asked in the survey they send after the festival if they should put free showers or a shuttle service… has that happened?
This isn’t my first year at Bonnaroo… Research has absolutely nothing to do with anything that happened to me. I appreciate the selfishness you’ve shown for the sake of defending the music festival. I apologize if my misfortune offended you and your mindset that just because you had a good time, anything bad that may have happened to anyone else is bullshit and their own fault. You clearly have no idea what you’re talking about. We’re encouraged to radiate positivity… Im positive that you should think before you speak.
